Born in Kitchener, Canada. Lives and works in Kitchener, Canada.Inspired by traditional paintings from the Baroque and Rococo periods, Joe Becker‘s paintings not only portray a remarkable craftsmanship but also provide images full of vivid and colorful nightmares. Charged with juxtapositions of pop culture imagery and chaotic scenarios, his paintings offer plenty of excitement and tension for the viewer.
A graduate of the Drawing and Painting program at the Ontario College of Art and Design, Joe Becker has exhibited with Narwhal in The Dazzle (October 2010) and The Unicorn (December 2010).
