Born in Toronto, Canada. Lives and works in Toronto, Canada.Noel Middleton is a Toronto-based multi-disciplinary artist who works in sculpture, installation, photography and video. Using natural, found and collected materials, Middleton creates multi-sensory, multi-media installations that bridge experiences of reclusion and fantasy with themes of social and economic deprivation.
Middleton has exhibited with Magic Pony in Give a Little (December 2006), Ilavska (February 2007), Noble Fir (December 2007), Vesna Sontse (February 2008), and Constantine’s Muscaria (December 2008). In October 2008, Middleton and Magic Pony created Platonic Material Plane, a site-specific installation at The Gladstone Hotel for the upArt Contemporary Art Fair as part of Nuit Blanche (2008). Middleton has exhibited with Narwhal in Stay Gold (December 2008) and Little Crowns (December 2009).
