Selena Wong

Born in Hong Kong. Lives and works in Toronto, Canada.

Raised in Hong Kong, Selena Wong now lives and works in Toronto as an artist and freelance illustrator, and is currently finishing the Illustration program at The Ontario College of Art and Design. Like the condensed urban environment of her place of birth, Wong finds comfort in petit surroundings; places tucked away, forgotten, and removed from reality. Interested in superstition, folklore and the fantastical, Wong's meticulously detailed translations of her daydreams and nightmares are both playful and disturbing. Wong has exhibited with Narwhal in Life Drawing (March 2009).
